Candy ******NOW CLOSED ******

Hi everyone this is my new blog just for my projects that I make. (of course i will be keeping my other blog for my competitions).

second christmas card

Oh dear I think I am addicted to making Christmas cards . Lol. I made this one by cutting out bunting to look like icicles and used my copic markers to edge it in blue . I then put white fine glitter on and stamped the letters on each flag. I used a lovely blue paper that I got in a swap over on our face book group The friendly crafters, and I stamped some snow on added glitter to the snow and this is the finished card

first Chrissy card of the year

Well i know its early still but i need to start early as i have gained a huge amount of wonderful friends since i started crafting and have a lot of Christmas cards to send out . So here is my first one . 

Now how did I make this? 

Well the first thing I did was to use my Grand nestabilities dies

and my big shot . I also used one of my sizzlets for the holly leaves . I love this sizzlet it cuts out a really nice holly leaf. 

I then drew around my die cut and also used the edge to cut this lovely burgundy edge.

 

Once I had all the cutting out done I used my lovely stamped image of a snowy white tree .

Once I put the card together I used my smoochy glitter that I won in a magazine about a year ago for the tree and the edge of the card  

I then added a bow made with my bowdabra . I hope you like it.

My red card

Yesterday I was feeling very ill . I had no energy so I went to my craft room to try and fight it and this is what I made.

I used one of my new grand dies that a very good friend sold to me (really cheaply I might add) and then layered it with card stock from my stash cut out some more layers from another set of dies , embossed one of them ,used some jean flowers from my stash. Stamped a sentiment and added a stamp of a lady bird, which i coloured using my copics and walla here is the result . I hope you like it . Thanks for stopping by  .

My first grand dies

Hi everyone thank you for stopping by here is my latest card that I have made. I am such a happy bunny because I got my very first grand dies and so couldn't resist using them straight away . Anyway here is what I came up with and I absolutely love it . Oh and i forgot to mention that I got a new butterfly folder from ebay as well . I used them both on this card 

 Everything on here is cut from my big shot except the ribbons of course he he

Book tag

Well this is my first blog on here (apart from my competition of course ) and I made a book mark that I did for a fabulous face book group called Mad crafty giggles and they have a fun daily one word challenge and guess what the word was: book mark . Any way this is how I made it .

As you can see I cut out two strips of card and then a lovely piece of mulberry paper in a contrasting colour . I then cut out a book shape free hand . I put the book on with my glue gun so it doesn't get squooshed  added a rose and some tassel. Then i turned it over and added 

 a corner piece so it will fit on the corner of pages . I hope you like it it is very simple and easy to make .  let me know what you think . i always love to here your comments .
